Crawl Jacket Hemp Warp Wool Selvedge Fox Fibre Stripe

A relaxed fitting, modern take on a Type III denim jacket cut from DLB's bespoke wool/hemp denim in yarn dyed black. Features a classic collar, large dropped chest pockets, on-seam hand pockets that also form inner drop-in "book" pockets, engineer's cuffs, and side tab details. Archetypal styling has here been relaxed slightly, offering a roomier fit that highlights the unique, pliable, yet crisp drape of the denim. Constructed at a denim specialist factory in San Francisco using chain stitched, flat felled seams throughout for a time tested, hard wearing finish; enamelled metal buttons throughout.

The Hemp Warp Wool Denim is woven on vintage Draper looms in Pennsylvania using fine micron American Rambouillet wool and long staple European hemp. The hemp warp offers a high degree of durability and lends a distinct crisp hand feel that is contrasted by the more supple texture imparted by the wool. At once light enough for transitional seasons and insulating in the cold, the cloth combines both the insulating properties of wool and the cooling properties of hemp. The cloth has been washed and sundried to bring out its natural texture.
