Britt Liberg Skirts

Britt Liberg is a multidisciplinary artist and designer whose work explores the playful relationship between clothing, movement, and the body. She attended the ballet academy in Amsterdam and studied fashion design at ArtEZ University of the Arts. She has since created performances for Dries van Noten, Nicklas Skovgaard, and Dover Street Market and collaborated with Vivienne Westwood. She founded SKIRTS by Britt Liberg in 2024 as an ongoing experiment with the skirt as a vessel to explore the diversity of women. Made by hand in small editions or as one-of-a-kind pieces, each design is made of carefully selected deadstock fabrics, with the character and limitations of each material helping shape the final piece. Liberg’s intuitive approach gives her skirts a sense of movement, resulting in expressive garments that feel individual and unexpected.
