Operating under an unconventional business model, all goods are made to order, creating a plurality of “collections” each season that are tailored to her partners’ sensibilities. Intelligent drafting throughout each design produces clean, focused lines and elegant silhouettes that highlight moments of the mundane. The appearance of the pant leg at the ankle when sitting, or the jacket cuff when holding a mug of coffee, are of equal consideration as overall design harmony and form the basis of Lea’s approach.
