Luke Derrick graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2021 and honed his craft through a familiar track of traditional British menswear houses before founding his eponymous label. Developing as an extension of his first hand experience with London’s dualist expressions of both hyper-traditionalism and rigorous experimentalism, Derrick offers both a sense of aspirational elegance and realistic funcitonalism. Designed for a fast-paced urban reality, each garment is intended to slip freely from tedious, mundane errands, be they by foot or by bike, and evening occasions that may call for a more formal touch. For Luke Derrick, the goal is to maintain “elegance under pressure.”
