Founded by Luke Walker in 2020, L.E.J. is the synthesis of two decades of experience in the garment industry. Beginning his career fresh from Central Saint Martins in 2004 at Lanvin, he developed a deep appreciation that understanding craft at all levels, from fabric to stitch length, serves as the foundation for creative exploits. Following this period of intense creativity Walker moved on to Dunhill, and finally Drake’s where tradition, function, and accuracy are prized most. The rigour of traditional menswear, with a focus on cuts, finishing, and construction, is softened by the sensuality of couture through fine fabrics and a rich colour palette to bring his singular vision to life. Operated in many ways as an ode to Walker’s father, an aerospace engineer, his attention is fixed on maintaining precision while allowing the body to feel.
