The patchwork-style lining is made with handwoven silk that has been naturally dyed using madder and marigold to achieve charming hues of pinks and yellows. Flower embellishments cover the jacket, made of hand-dyed silk, each with a jade bead in the centre and a mother-of-pearl backing. The classic silhouette is straight through the body with a touch of volume, a V-neckline, and a curved hem at the opening. It fastens at the front with porcelain buttons that are handmade by North London-based ceramicist Arjan Van Dal.
