MAN-TLE's signature oversized Weather Shirt cut from their remarkably crisp 160 Crunch shirting in a garment dyed, muted teal blue. Features a narrow collar, a clean finished back yoke, and a curved hem. Dropped armholes and gently curved two piece sleeves combine for exceptional range of motion and an effortless, relaxed silhouette that looks excellent worn alone or with an under layer. Constructed using french seams and a flat felled armhole for MAN-TLE’s trademark hard wearing finish that is built to last; Corozo buttons.
160 Crunch is woven from USA grown, long staple, Supima cotton and sets a new industry benchmark for the smoothest, densest, and strongest typewriter cloth. It achieves a density of 358 yarns per square inch, eclipsing the previous record of 340. Extremely difficult to produce, it requires older, wooden shuttle looms renowned for a gentler touch on the yarns themselves. The resulting cloth is feather light, tending to sit away from the skin, and bears a crisp, papery hand. It rustles and crunches with movement, and despite its delicacy, the density of the weave makes it supremely strong. With proper care it will retain its unique structure through many wears.
Due to the nature of garment dyeing, expect some variation in tone throughout. Use discretion when wearing with lighter coloured fabrics to avoid unwanted colour transfer.
