A relaxed fitting, cropped, blouson jacket cut from a midweight, densely woven, smooth surfaced silk plain weave with an appearance similar to worsted wool and a supple hand. Features a standard collar with a storm tab extension, a two-way Waldes zipper, welted hand pockets, gusseted cuffs, and a close fitting banded waist with button-fastening adjusters. The cinching at the waist produces an elegant bloused silhouette that highlights the supple body of the silk while the cloth's dull lustre plays nicely with light. Constructed using a single needle, flat felled seams and lined sleeves for a long lasting, encased finish; completed with reinforcement gussets in a fine silk crepe at the cuffs and side seams.
