Evan Kinori's signature, loose fitting, button-front shirt cut from a midweight, dense, cotton plainweave in a black-on-natural grid check. Features a classic collar, large dropped chest pockets with flap closures, a clean finished yoke, and a curved hem. Generous proportions combine with the dense body of the cloth to produce a sense of mildly structured drape that tends to fall slightly away from the body. Constructed using french seams throughout for a long lasting, encased finish; mother of Pearl buttons.
The Cotton Gridcloth is woven in Japan using a two-yarn black stripe on an undyed cotton ground. Interweaving with the ground yarns produces a “salt-and-pepper” effect that imparts a softer appearance to the check.
