Time After Dye Hoodie Ultramarine Blue

A relaxed fitting, boxy, hoodie cut from a super soft, loop backed Giza cotton fleece in an irregularly faded soft medium blue. Crossover construction at the hood with no drawstring combines with raglan sleeves and slightly shortened body to evoke a sense of effortless, worn-in ease. Constructed with cover stitched reinforcements throughout for a long lasting finish that flattens inner seam bulk and provides a more comfortable surface.

Cottle's "Time After Dye" collection uses sulfur dyes, a class of pigment dye that does not penetrate the fabric deeply. As a result, the colour fades with time and takes on patina similar to that of fading denim. Each garment is carefully "aged" by hand after the dye process to produce a sense of lived-in ease that is intended to mirror a sun faded patina.
