471 Plastron Shirt Wool Calico Chestnut Dyed

An oversized, loose fitting, button-front shirt cut from a fine, lightweight wool calico shirting in chestnut grey. Features Tender's signature rumpled collar, a left breast pocket, a large underarm pleat that produces abundant airy volume, and a flat hem. Designed without side seams and a shifted sleeve seam that meets the shoulder, the pleating at the sleeve offers a generous fit through the body that floats freely in movement. Constructed using flat felled seams throughout for a long lasting, encased finish; catseye Mother of Pearl buttons throughout.

Dyed using a tannin solution derived from chestnut wood, expect some variation in tone throughout with irregular dark speckling. Natural dyes are living dyes, they will fade and develop with wear, washing and exposure to sunlight.

Note this edition fits smaller than other editions of the 471 shirt due to shrinkage of the wool during the dye process. Please refer to measurements for sizing guidance.
