An oversized, zip-front jacket cut from a heavyweight, richly textured, washed linen canvas in black. Features a large classic collar, a heavy offset two-way YKK zipper, and on-seam hand pockets at the waist. Generous proportions with dropped shoulders and a wide body are shaped gently using elastic at the cuffs and hem to produce a soft, plush silhouette that falls with weighty, bloused drape throughout. Constructed using bias-bound seams throughout to preserve a smooth exterior and provide a long lasting, encased finish.
The 20HR Canvas begins as a heavyweight oil-painter’s canvas woven in Kyoto and is then bio-washed for 20 hours. The bio-wash treatment causes the yarns to swell, revealing the underlying structure of the weave while also providing a soft touch. Following the wash treatment it is overdyed black, producing a unique inky shade that complements the rich texture produced through washing.
