Shabd Simon Alexander turned to textile arts after years of studying fine art. She brought the practice of tie-dye back to the fore, and has collaborated with many diverse companies. All her pieces are sustainably made, and produced in the garment district of NYC, then dyed in the Brooklyn studio.
