Early Morning Black Fine Loden

A generous, relaxed fitting, half-button pullover cut from a midweight, fine wool Loden cloth in black. Features an adjustable three-piece hood cut as a continuation of the body, a one-piece button placket facing, on-seam hand pockets with visible stitching at the exterior, and a cord drawstring at the hem. Easy proportions through the chest combine with raglan sleeves and a gentle taper for a bagged silhouette with bloused volume throughout that hangs naturally from the shoulders. Constructed using fine, single needle, flat felled seams throughout for a long lasting, encased finish; horn buttons.

The Fine Loden cloth is 240gsm winter woollen woven at a 5th generation mill in Austria using super fine Australian Merino wool. After weaving, the fabric is treated in a warm soapy bath and a compression machine, causing it to shrink significantly and take on a super dense, more plush, felt-like texture. Despite their light weight the fine Lodens are insulating, hardwearing, and handle many wears with ease before need for washing.
