Combining a love for tailoring with his Key West, Florida upbringing, Robert Childs presents his vision of classic silhouettes updated with contemporary fabrics and prints. Childs attributes his appreciation for timeless design to his parents' influence; his father was a builder and his mother was an artist.

An alumni of FIT, Childs went on to work for Adam Kimmel and Thom Browne before embarking on his own project. These days he draws on his experience to create clothing aimed at a sense of being current, without becoming overly trend driven. " I've always believed that something can be beautiful on the surface, but without a deeper consideration and exploration, whether it's a jacket or a building, it's not going to have the richness and value that will make it timeless."
