Pleats Blouse Yellow Ochre

Yoko Sakamoto's, boxy oversized trucker-style blouson jacket cut from a dense, crisp shuttle loomed cotton selvedge denim that has been overdyed using yellow ochre. Features a classic collar, pleating along the placket, rivet reinforced patch pockets at the waist, and a yoked back with pleating at the shoulders and hem. The shaping achieved with the pleating through the back produces bagged volume while relaxed fitting at the hem maintains a sense of free movement throughout. Constructed using chain stitched, flat felled seams throughout for a long lasting, encased finish; tack buttons.

Natural dyes are living dyes and are intended to evolve with wear, washing and exposure to sunlight. Use some caution when wearing with lighter coloured fabrics as some colour transfer may occur through friction. Any variation in tone is considered intentional and a desirable artifact of the artisanal process.
