Stephan Schneider

From Antwerp, Belgium

German born, Belgian-based designer, Stephan Schneider, has been a garment maker since graduating from Antwerp’s Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 1994. After graduating, he realized the deep importance of being directly involved in the garment and textile making of his collection. The appeal for Schneider’s eponymous label comes from the equally special attention he pays to fabric choice, pattern and silhouette. There is inherent longevity in every single facet of Stephan Schneider’s garments as they are all created under his watchful eye in the label's own Belgian production facilities. Aside from being a hands-on designer, Schneider also currently teaches at the esteemed institution for music and the arts, the Universitat der Kunste in Berlin.
