D.Mccready Black Indigo

A relaxed fitting, boxy, button front denim jacket cut from a 14oz, indigo cotton denim that has been overdyed to black, producing a rich layered colour. Features a classic collar, a left breast pocket mirrored by an inner right pocket, a buckled rear waist cinch, a deer leather patch at the back waist, and engineer's cuffs. Wide proportions with dropped shoulders combine with extensive pleating along the waistline to produce a shaped, curvilinear silhouette that adapts to the body over time. Constructed with selvedge-cut seams throughout for a long lasting, stable edge finish that leaves a low profile interior; rivet reinforcements and tack buttons throughout.

The 14oz denim is a reproduction of a 1960's denim. With time the overdyed treatment will fade, exposing the indigo beneath it to produce a rich, two-tone fade. Discretion advised when wearing with lighter coloured fabrics to avoid unwanted colour transfer.
