A now familiar loose fitting zip-front jacket cut from a midweight, high density, dry cotton/linen corduroy in a warm dark brown. Features a classic collar with a hidden stand, a polished two-way Lampo zipper, dual entry pockets at the waist with top and side openings, and a gusseted cuff detail. Wide proportions through the body combine with sloping dropped shoulders and a dramatic taper to the waist using elastic for a pleasing bloused silhouette. Completed with a full lining in a fine, undyed organic cotton typewriter a long lasting fully encased finish.
The Sumi Ink Corduroy is woven in Wakayama before the pile is cut in Shizuoka at one of. the last remaining corduroy cutters in Japan. The rich, slightly varied colour is achieved by combining Sumi ink with an OEKO-Tex certified dye. Expect the colour to fade and evolve over time, developing a rich patina.
