A generous, wide leg trouser cut from a 14-wale cotton corduroy that has been washed to give it a crisp broken-in feel in a dusty grey tinged beige. Features a button fly with button closure, front slash pockets, rear square patch pockets, and a buckled waist cinch. Based on a pair of work pants dating from the late eighteenth century, the generous leg stands away from the leg from hip to hem providing a structural column like silhouette; when the trousers break at the ankle, they have a flared character. Constructed with a selvedge cut outseam and using chain stitched flat felled seams through the seat and inseam for increased durability at regions of frequent abrasion; completed with nut based buttons, true to the original reference piece.
