An easy, relaxed fitting, button-front shirt cut from a lightweight, rinsed, undyed cotton herringbone with Tattersall striping in green, yellow, and blue yarns. Features a shrunken collar, narrow modified cuffs, and a curved hem. Cut without side seams, the two body panels wrap to the back and are joined using a clean finished vertical yoke panel to create a soft silhouette with additional volume carried through the back. Constructed using single needle, flat felled seams throughout for a long lasting, encased finish; oversized "jigger" buttons, typically used to reinforce a larger button, throughout.
Originally designed for use in horse blanket production, the Tattersall Stripe is here cross-cut, shifting the stripes from horizontal to vertical. The rotated herringbone chevron takes on a zig-zag like pattern.
This edition of the 486 Shirt fits slightly larger than the Brown Hat edition, please refer to measurements when selecting size.
