There is a beauty inherent in mathematics, the language of numbers, and it is this beauty that guides the work of Sine and Cosine. Working from a shared background of academia and a lens of “mathematical clarity,” the graceful curves of their shoes emerge from the symmetry and ubiquity of the sine wave. Fusing their distinctly technical point of view with the influence of history, their shoes are rendered in simple, minimal forms. Simplicity of form and material are heightened by a reserved, intelligent awareness of the fundamental nature of the curve.
