A newly introduced, oversized, military inspired jacket cut from a dense, dry, wool/cotton gabardine in black with a yellow dash-pinstripe. Features a large collar with storm tab, a fly-front button placket, flap-closure hand pockets at the chest and waist, and a vented back. Dramatic, expanded proportions offer a high volume silhouette that hangs freely from the shoulders, combining with the sturdy surface of the cloth for a sense of functional, shielding elegance. Constructed with a full lining in a fine, black typewriter cloth for a long lasting, fully encased finish; reinforced Corozo buttons throughout.
The Dash Wool Gabardine is a densely woven 2/2 twill produced in Ichinomiya, Japan using a mix of wool and cotton. Wool warp combines with cotton weft to produce a dense, dry hand and mild structure. The qualities of the wool are retained at the fabric's surface–without the use of excess fibre burning or pressing–leaving a slight hairy texture.
