An updated version of MAN-TLE's long standing button-front over shirt cut their warm weather, high twist, cotton/linen chambray in a deep, clayey, muted grey-brown. Features a narrow classic collar, a left breast pocket, the signature military-style belt threaded button closure, a clean finished rear yoke with bi-swing pleating set against the armhole, and a flat hem. The "New" edition features a wider, more relaxed fit through the chest and shoulders to better accommodate under layers and lend a slightly more utilitarian edge. Constructed using french seams throughout for a long lasting, encased finish.
MAN-TLE's linen cloth is woven in Shizuoka using a super high twist linen yarn that is spun in China. Blending the linen and cotton provides both crispness and softness that takes on remarkable suppleness with wear and washing, becoming papery and light.
