A boxy, oversized rain shell cut from crisp, ultra high density Master Shield in black. Features a low profile storm hood with a collar that sits at the chin, MAN-TLE's signature military style button closures and generous drop-in front pockets with an ample swooping opening. Roomy proportions through the chest and shoulders combine with the structure of the cloth to create a sculptural silhouette that softens with age and provides a high degree of water resistance. Constructed using french seams and strategic bar tack reinforcements throughout for MAN-TLE's signature, long lasting, durable finish.
Master Shield is woven in Saitama, Japan using pure Giza cotton, renowned for its remarkably fine, long fibres. Initially developed for use by the British Air Force, it was recommissioned by the Japanese Coast Guard for use as lightweight, breathable spray gear. When exposed to water, the ultra fine yarns within the super tight weave expand and create an impermeable, water resistant surface without using a chemical coating.
