A newly introduced, smaller edition of MAN-TLE’s trademark messenger bag cut from their signature heat compressed nylon in white. Features a large primary compartment with a padded laptop sleeve, two expandable outer pockets, and a two-stage closure system with an inner hook closure completed by two German-made pull toggles at the exterior. Constructed using heavy bound seam finishing throughout for a sense of robustness that is built to withstand many years of use. Completed with an adjustable padded chest strap featuring MAN-TLE’s newly introduced anti-slip buckles for a secure hold.
MAN-TLE’s nylon cloth is produced in Fukui, Japan in close collaboration with a local mill. The cloth is boiled in a chloride solution, causing it to shrink permanently, producing the characteristic crinkled surface and a tighter weave that imparts structural water resistance. Both the technique and appearance of the cloth pay homage to traditional techniques used in the production of Japanese Obi belts wherein silk is boiled in sea water.
