A generous, relaxed fitting, button-front jacket cut from a super lightweight, vintage linen plain weave in black. Features a single layer convertible collar with a wide notched lapel line, patch pockets at the waist, a selvedge hem along the back panel, and hand stitched hemming at the pockets, front hem, collar and lapel. The hand stitching method is identical to the technique typically used for finishing handkerchiefs and scarves, allowing for a super lightweight, minimal, single layer construction throughout that floats freely with movement. Constructed using fine single needle flat felled seams and french seams for a long lasting, encased finish; smoked Mother of Pearl buttons.
