A generous, relaxed fitting, slightly boxy, button-front blouson cut from a super fine, double faced, 180's wool melton in black. Features a classic collar and on-seam hand pockets. Extremely reduced, minimal detailing highlights the dense pliable hand of the super fine cloth, producing a mildly structured silhouette that falls with elegant drape. Constructed using hand-stitched methods specific to double faced fabrics that create a seamless, elegant apperance with a fully encased interior; horn buttons.
The Super Fine Wool Melton is woven from 14.5 micron wool and bears a notably soft hand while retaining a substantial desity. After weaving it is treated using a technique known as "wet raising" wehrein the fabric is brushed using natural teasels after resting in a semi-damp state over night. The resulting pile is compact, dense, and bears a subtle lustre.
