Work 5 Loft Jacket Nantucket

A trim fitting button-front jacket built from a sandwiched construction of three different fabrics to produce airy all-season insulation. The shell is cut from a high tension, technical, poly/cotton gabardine woven by Majocchi in Italy; a unique garment over dyeing process colours only the cotton yarns, leaving the poly in the base olive green to produce a rich surface texture. External detailing features a modified shawl style collar, a fly-front button placket, welted waist pockets, and a drawstring at the back waist.

The lining is cut from a high density cotton oxford cloth with a "peached" brushed finish and produces a bright magenta pink through the garment dye process. The third fabric, an open cell organic cotton mesh, forms an insulating inter-layer that shrinks during the dyeing process and will stretch to fit with wearing. This unique method allows the jacket to fit as closely to the body as possible, making it ideal for layering. Completed with buttons made from recycled cigarette butts.
