Thom Light Green

A loose fitting, boxy, button front shirt cut from a super lightweight, wool gauze shirting in a beige/green/navy check. Features an open convertible collar, on-seam hand pockets at the waist, a clean finished yoke with gathered volume along the back seam, and a flat hem with gusset reinforced split side seams. The airy drape of the cloth lends a sense of floating volume that is ideally suited to warm months, expressing a softened easy elegance; a unique approach to shaping volume with two rows of chain stitching at the cuffs and yoke produces pleasing irregular gathers in place of traditional pleating methods. Constructed using single needle flat felled seams throughout for a long lasting, encased finish; horn buttons.

This cloth is woven in India using artisanal methods and as such bears some irregularity in its appearance. Artifacts or flaws from the weaving process are considered desirable traces of craft and are a trademark feature of this cloth.
