Evan Kinori's, original, everlasting, relaxed fit button front shirt cut from a lightweight, cold dyed hemp shirting with a crinkled surface in a dark grey tinged beige. Features a classic spread collar, a clean finished rear yoke, and a flat hem. The reduced, minimal detailing draws the eye to the cloth, highlighting its rich colour and texture while allowing subtle, swung drape throughout for a sense of effortless elegance. Constructed using french seams throughout for a long lasting, encased finish; high contrast, super fine Mother of Pearl buttons throughout.
The Cold Dyed Hemp Shirting is woven in Japan and bears a light crisp surface that softens and becomes bouncy with age. Its uniquely rich colour is achieved through an experimental cold dye process that results in irregular colour saturation and produces subtle variation in tone throughout. Dyed at a small workshop in Okayama, operated by only two people, pushing the boundaries of small-scale experimentation.
