MAN-TLE’s classic multi-handle tote bag cut from MT-Wax in a deep, clayey, muted grey-brown. Features dual carry handles at the opening, a longer shoulder strap to wear cross-body, and the trademark military button threaded onto seatbelt tape at the closure. Durably constructed with french seams for a hard wearing finish that is built to last many years to come.
MT-Wax cloth is a high density, midweight plain weave, woven for MAN-TLE in Shizuoka using a mix of Australian and American cottons. After weaving it is treated with a baked paraffin wax finish in Fukui, resulting in its trademark rigid dense hand. With wear and washing the waxed coating softens, shaping to the body and becoming more papery in texture.
