A newly introduced, loose fitting, lightly oversized peacoat cut from a classic, yarn dyed, Magee Irish tweed in brown and charcoal. Features a generous trench collar with a storm flap, a double breasted closure, layered pockets with drop-in patch pockets and hand warmer welt pockets, and button-fastening cuff adjusters. The roomy body is perfectly suited to winter layering, concealing the hands from cold conditions through extended sleeves, while gently tailored fitting at the shoulder maintains a sense of elegant composure. Constructed with a full lining in an undyed organic cotton typewriter cloth for a long lasting, fully encased finish; Corozo buttons.
The Wool Herringbone is woven by Magee in Donegale County, Ireland using traditional tweed spinning methods. Timeless by nature, the simplicity of the cloth draws the eye to the inimitable rich natural texture produced through generations of received knowledge.
