Bronze is a living material, interacting with the PH of the skin, it changes in appearance according to mood and health, creating a unique and intimate bond with the wearer.

A frequent source of inspiration for Monica Castiglioni are pistils - the flower’s reproductive organ. She recalled looking at a pistil under a microscope and seeing "infinite chaos" and within that chaos was an elegant geometric source of order and balance. This source order can be seen in much of her work, especially her rings, which can be stacked and layered. She creates tiny wearable bronze sculptures that look and feel as though they were formed organically.
