MAN-TLE’s standout, oversized down jacket cut from a sustainably sourced deerskin leather in black. Features an oversized padded collar, front on-seam pockets, and the signature pull-toggle closure system originally designed for convertible soft tops. The deerskin offers a sense of comforting weightiness offers a sense of comfort that is enlivened by its rich grained texture and the inky shade of black. Finished with a full lining in a black, high density, nylon plain weave; durable by design, Down-3 is built to withstand many years of wear.
The Eco Deerskin is sourced as a by-product of the meat industry within Japan. It is dyed and tanned by Ogasawara Leather, one of Japan's most established leather houses. The jacket itself is constructed by a leather-craft master and close MAN-TLE collaborator, Tochigi, at his workshop in Nasukarasuyama.
