Wide fitting, long-rise, pleated trousers cut from a smooth surfaced wool/viscose gabardine in black with a weighty, bouncy hand feel. Feature a zip fly, a top button closure, an external drawstring at the waist, dual pleats at the front waist, front slash pockets, and rear welt pockets with double darts that expand to subtle pleating below the pocket opening. The volume afforded by the pleats at the front and back creates a generous draped silhouette through the thigh that is controlled with a very slight taper from the knee, producing a sense of dynamic movement from the hips to the ankle. Completed with button-fastening hem cinches at each leg that can be used for further shaping to enhance the draped effect.
