Hütten Shirt Black Yellow Checked Fine Loden

An easy, relaxed fitting pullover shirt cut from a super dense, brushed fine Loden in a black/yellow mini check. Features a stand collar cut as an extension of the front panel, wrapping around the neck to meet at the centre back, a one-piece button placket at the neck closure, and a drawcord at the hem. Raglan sleeve construction offers exceptional range of motion while simultaneously creating elegant drape lines through the rear shoulder; the drawcord can be used to create a bloused effect, further encouraging movement to highlight the character of the Loden. Constructed using fine, single needle flat felled seams throughout for a long lasting finish that leaves an encased tidy interior; Corozo button closure.

The Fine Loden cloth is 240gsm winter woollen woven at a 5th generation mill in Austria using super fine Australian Merino wool. After weaving, the fabric is treated in a warm soapy bath and a compression machine, causing it to shrink significantly and take on a super dense, more plush, felt-like texture. Despite their light weight the fine Lodens are insulating, hardwearing, and handle many wears with ease before need for washing. This checked edition is first woven using black and white yarns before it is overdyed "whole cloth" with yellow, causing the black tones of the check to bear a complex colouration that shifts from black to brown to green depending on the light.
