Evan Kinori's signature, loose fitting, button-front shirt cut from a lightweight wool gauze in a brown/biege/navy Kasuri check. Features a classic collar, large dropped chest pockets with flap closures, a clean finished rear yoke, and a curved hem. The dry hand of the cloth lends a sense of mild structure, while the inherent suppleness of the wool produces airy drape throughout. Constructed using french seams throughout for a long lasting, encased finish; Corozo buttons.
The Kasuri Wool Check is woven in Ichinomiya Japan, using Australian Merino wool. Initially developed in the 1990's this unique gauze cloth employs a Kasuri dyed yarn, producing a shadowy fade stripe within the check, lending a rich visual texture. Woven in a loose gauze structure, the finished cloth is then washed, causing the weave to tighten and create a dense, dry hand.
