An easy, relaxed fitting, boxy button front jacket cut from a lightweight cotton ripstop with a water repellent, pigmented wax coating in a brown-tinged off black. Features a curved collar, on seam hand pockets at the waist, lightly elasticated cuffs, a vented back with storm flap, and a drawcord at the hem with leather toggles. Advanced pattern drafting blends the front panel into the sleeves and storm flap panels, eliminating all shoulder seams to create a natural fit that is remarkably comfortable. Constructed using fine single needle flat felled seams throughout for a long lasting, fully encased finish.
With regular wear, the wax coating will begin to fade slowly, exposing the black base colour of the fabric to develop a rich patina.
