Leaf Vein Tailor Made Shirt Fermentation

A loose fitting button-front overshirt cut from Cottle's super fine, silk/cotton/hemp "Leaf Vein" cloth in an undyed ecru beige with an irregular mottled pattern. Features a classic standless collar, a covered fly-front button placket, a clean finished rear yoke with a gather at the centre-back in place of the standard pleat, miniaturized engineer style cuffs, and a dropped back hem. The unique drape of the Leaf Vein cloth complements the easy silhouette with a sense of light structure that is contrasted by soft draped qualities. Constructed using super fine single needle flat felled seams throughout for a long lasting, encased finish; completed with Mother of Pearl buttons, hand stitched blind hemming at the cuffs, and a raw hem.

The "Leaf Vein" cloth employs an advanced blend of the finest natural fibres to produce a subtle lustre and a beautiful, fine surface texture. The "Fermentation" pattern is produced by hand painting natural dyes onto the fabric's surface and allowing them to naturally permeate through the cloth. With wear, washing, and exposure to sunlight the colours will shift and fade; each shirt bears a unique colour pattern.
