A look at the life and career of French designer, Andree Putman, who was known for her Minimalist interiors and furniture designs including store design and furnishing for fashion houses such as Yves Saint Laurent, Azzedine Alaia and Karl Lagerfeld. Putman is also widely known for her commissioned work on The French Culture Ministry, a number of Hotels and her interior design consultancy, Ecart, which reissued furniture designs from the 1920s and 1930s by some of the designers of the Art Deco era.
