Quality, hand-built and weatherproof are the three words
that encircle the logo of Mer Bags, and for the last decade they remain the three
principles that have epitomized the brand since its inception. In 2001, a bike
messenger named Rob Nelson from Brooklyn began constructing a messenger bag out
of necessity to hold up against his rough and tumble life at work and play. As
an avid mountain bike racer as well as skateboarder, Rob’s designs were steered
by the forces of everyday physical activity and on-the-go functionality. The playful
palette of colours used for each Mer item complements the utilitarian aspects
of each piece, giving the line a uniqueness all its own.

The Dog Walker is the theme here. I think this was the result of an early morning or a late night or a combination of the both. Anyway Rob is wearing some comfortable items from the shop such as, this cotton/cashmere blended sweatshirt by Dana Lee, a pair of brushed cotton chinos by Svensson, canvas sneakers by Superga, a Mer belt pouch and a sporty Uniform Wares watch.
