We would like to thank everyone who was able to make it last Friday for our party. It turned out to be quite the event and we’ve never seen so many people in the shop. Hopefully there are many more events like this in the future! Special thanks goes to Jennilee Marigomen (all 10 copies that we received of her first zine sold that night), Je Suis Une Bande de Jeunes, Steam Whistle and Barefoot Wine.

On a side note Jennilee’s photographs and prints will be available in our shop for the remainder of October.

Tomorrow is our Grand Opening party but we will also be celebrating the book launch of Vancouver based photographer Jennilee Marigomen’s first book/zine entitled “Seconde Nature” published by Je Suis Une Bande De Jeunes (JSBJ). The “Seconde Nature” Blue Zine launched at the NYABF at MOMA PS1 a couple weeks back and this is its Canadian launch. Only 50 copies of the Blue Zine are made and we will have 10 available starting Friday. Click here to read more about JSBJ and Jennilee Marigomen.

This upcoming Friday, October 14 we will be having our Grand Opening party at our shop. We realize this party is a bit late seeing that we opened over six months ago but, better late than never! The party will be in collaboration with our good friend Jennilee Marigomen, celebrating the release of her first book/zine entitled "Seconde Nature" that is published by JSBJ -Je Suis Une Bande de Jeunes. Last Thursday we had our second event in as many months at the shop. Schnauzer Publications was featuring their two new books as well as photographs from Ann Woo and Seth Fluker. We must say it was quite the turnout. The Pacific Pilsner and PBR were flowing with Bianca bartending, people were mingling, Jennilee was taking some nice snaps and everyone seemed to be having a good time. We are looking forward to our next event, which will most likely be our Official Launch Party in the next couple of months. More photos are below and on Flickr.

This Thursday, June 16 we will be hosting an event with Schnauzer Publications featuring books and photographs by Ann Woo & Seth Fluker.
