This one ended up being a themed look even though we did not mean for it to be. We thought Jabari looked like some Hollywood director so we thought we’d go with it. Anyway, this season’s baseball jacket by Patrik Ervell is made from a Italian imported coated cotton which is water resistant. The khaki and navy colour combination is timeless and the copper snap hardware adds to the appeal as well. Paired with a pair of khaki chinos, a red checked shirt that adds some pop and this great buckleless belt, the only thing missing is the director’s chair!

The baseball jacket and varsity jacket have similarities in terms of style and fit however, there are a few key differences. A baseball jacket should be made from lighter weight fabrics and allow for more mobility and ventilation than a varsity jacket. 

Like most of Patrik Ervell's collection pieces the original use of the garment is noted but it is elegantly interpreted leaving the designer's personal touch on the piece. The two fabrications for this season's baseball jacket include a lightweight wool and a unique Japanese cotton in indigo stripes. The Jackets feature complimenting copper snap hardware, silk sleeve lining and gusset under the arms to allow for that mobility and ventilation. Click to see more.
