A jacket in linen is an ideal final layer option for the warmer months of the
year. We felt this Frank Leder option was a good choice since it is made from
100% linen but still has some structure to it. The linen is sourced from a
100-year-old factory in the Austrian Alps and features a contrasting red linen
lining, buttons made from a 1930s German airplane propeller and features two
front flap pockets. Some good outfit options as we’ve shown here are a simple
pocket square, a dress shirt and a pair of chinos.

After getting back from a short trip to the east coast and in light of
Zumi’s departure back to Japan, we thought we would put together a traveler’s
look. It is nice to wear something that is comfortable and semi-casual while
travelling on a train or airplane. This look features a simple denim cap just
in case you get bed head on your voyage, a versatile everyday oxford shirt by
Our Legacy, lightweight and extremely comfortable brushed cotton trousers by Baron
Wells, a simple thin but not skinny seersucker tie, and some fair isle socks
that give off a slipper like feel which is perfect for a long seated voyage.

We are launching a new feature this season. Each week we
will showcase an outfit or two that we put together, featuring items from the
shop. We have always been fond of flat product photography for the actual
product images however we think that bringing some context to our product
selection is a nice addition.
